The SUGAR REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION (SRA), through the SRA Corporate Operating Budget for 2009

intends to apply the sum of

One Million Five Hundred and Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php1,550,000.00)

being the total Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for SRA PurchaseRequest No.

09-04-19

. Bids received in excess of the ABC Nine Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php900,000.00)for 1 unit Dump Truck and Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php650,000.00) for 1 unit Cargo Truck shallbe automatically rejected at bid opening.The SUGAR REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION now invites bids for

1 unit reconditioned Dump Truck

and

1unit reconditioned Cargo Truck

. Delivery of the Goods is required after receipt of the Purchase Order.Bidders should have completed, within 10 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contractsimilar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents,particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwiseknown as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, organizations with at least sixty percent (60%)interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizationsof a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant toRA 5183 and subject to Commonwealth Act 138.Interested bidders may obtain further information from the SUGAR REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION andinspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on November 23, 2009 fromthe address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of One Thousand Pesos (Php1,000.00) per set.It may also be downloaded from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System(PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity
