An award-winning teacher, he has taught at Harvard, Columbia, and is currently a faculty member at his alma mater, Ohio University. He has worked as an editor at The Poetry Society of America, TriQuarterly, Parnassus: Poetry in Review, and has recently become the Web Editor for Alimentum: The Literature of Food.
