Sean Miner

Sean Miner scribbled:
I'd love to claim credit for the genre, but honesty demands I mention that adult fairy tales have been done by far more talented people: Jane Yolen comes immediately to mind, and Steven Brust. In an erotic turn, Anne Rice (writing as Anne Rampling) wrote The Taking of Sleeping Beauty. There are usually a few good examples in any issue of Year's Best Fantasy and Horror, and in fact editor Terri Windling is the creator of the 'Fairy Tales' series of novels (featuring reinterpretations of classic fairy tale themes). Thank you, though, for considering my work worthy of comment. It's a bit like being put into that class or writer. :)
