I wrote a free utility to scan documents, OCR them, and create a PDF with the combined scanned image and text -- it then uploads the result to Scribd automatically. http://www.atalasoft.com/cs/blogs/31a... Using it I can say that Scribd definitely supports scanned documents with combined text.
