This is in fact the Shia perspectove so titling it according to Sunni is deceptive. Sunni Muslims do not believe that Imam Mahdi is in some type of occultation being alive yet hidden for centuries. This is purely Shia belief which has no basis in the authentic sunnah of the Prophet(saw)
