How you sign your signature is irrelevant. As a software developer and a business owner I can tell you that this isn't a big deal and I will tell you why. A credit card signature is not sent to the credit card processing company. It is kept by the retailer. If there is ever a discrepency such as someone stealing your card and making a purchase then the receipt may be requested by the credit card company to see if your signature is on to prove whether you did or did not purchase the item. The signature can be checked with handwriting analysis whether you write your name, a box or julius erving on it. So it is useful and what you write doesn't matter a bit as long as we can prove its the way you write it.
