Where is Meehan's? Don't doubt that he did it, but a side-by-side comparison would be helpful. In 1987, an Auburn History professor plagiarized another historian's work and was nailed for it in the JSH. Check it out at: www.jstor.org/pss/2208924. Perhaps you could do something similar.
