Green Energy for Electricity Initiative (Genei) Revised |
"David Joseph" <DJoseph@StarpointSolar.com> To: "'Francis Fung'" <francis@worldharmonyorg.net> CC: "'Beno Sternlicht'" <lisben26@aol.com>, "'george e koo'" <gekoo@deloitte.com> Subject: RE: Proposed Letter of Consulting Fees Agreement Date: Mon, 18 Aug 2008 17:11:23 -0400 Hi Francis, You will be a great asset to the Company if you can deliver. We are very serious as we have been putting the entire Starpoint plan together over the past 12-months. But need to get to know you, your organization, contacts and resources better as well. At this point however, our team consists of 9 individuals with you making 10. We probably have another 5-6 working on raising the $5 MM and next $100 MM. If we were to pay all 15 people retainers and expenses, we would be out of business by now as a result. We also do not expect to wait 3-6 months before we have funding. We are in various stages of discussions with several funding groups. But if you can find a better one, then that would be great. At this point it is finding the best and most compatible funding source. Another option or solution might be ... |

Solar Stirling Engine Partnership |

It presents Starpoint's case well in relation to SES. I would continue to play up the larger 50 KW Stirling engine's higher efficiency and more advanced technology. The use of the term Solar Stirling Field is excellent. There are places may still need some refinement, but on the whole it is well written. To keep abreast of development, we must mindful of larger competing units. The focal point mounted 50 KW Stirling Solar Dish may peak out at 50KW because of size of dish and structure considerations. Larger more efficient units could be mounted on a platform that is capable of vertical movement to be surrounded by articulated solar dishes arranged around the Solar Stirling unit like satellites. This can be left for further engineering R and D. Provisional patent rights application of this improvement should be immediately studied. I have reason to know China has advanced lager ... |

RECOMMENDATION LETTER FROM CHAIRMAN OF MTI ON STIRLING ENGINE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER |
Mon, 4 Aug 2008 08:12:44 -0700 (PDT) From: "Francis Fung" <francis@worldharmonyorg.net> Subject: Stirling Engine Alliance (SEA) Grand Strategy. To: "Lester" <leslee@recortec.com> Dear Lester, I know you are experienced with large power industries and have over two decades of experience in Solar energy collection. That is why I am continuing our dilogue and invite you to be our senior adviser. Beno Sternlicht, former Chariman of MTI and John Prescott, Deputy Prime Minister of UK and other noted Stirling engine practitioners are among our advisers. Stirling Engines are made by new age manufacturers in U.S., Sweden, Holland and China, after GESEP transferred U.S. MTI technology to China. At the time MTI, just came out of a large commercialization project with DOE, has the leading state of the art Stirling engine technology. Stirling engines are omnivorous and can use any appropriate thermal energy. They are built in standard modular sizes suitable for a multitude of applications. As alternative to large power plants they are joined in large clusters. They can go into service in stages and do not need the unduly long constru... |
