Our Membership Committee will be in charge this year, selling hot dogs and drinks before, during and after the Armed Forces Day Parade. The booth will be located on our front lawn on the corner of Maple & El Dorado. This is a great opportunity for the church to become more present in the community. It was written in Denver over the Christmas holidays in a matter of four days. The piece is written from the viewpoint of the Roman Centurion who was responsible for the execution of Jesus. The role of Jesus will be sung by longtime friend Bob Hartley and the role of Maximus will be sung by J. Friedman, who narrated the last two cantatas that Ken wrote for the church.
