The opening day of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field will bring thepast to the present by honoring the last Olympic Team decided at Hayward Field whichwas unable to compete because of the US boycott of the Moscow Games. The OpeningCeremony will feature 1980 Team members. The Eugene 08 Festival will showcase80's music and highlights from the 1980 Olympic Trials.
