Display Your Product in our Lexington Store

Any member desiring to rent product display space to exhibit a book, CD, or DVD product in our Lexington storefront must sign a contract and application for in-store display and send it, postage prepaid, to us accompanied by three (3) nonreturnable copies to our editorial office to be used as follows: 1) one copy will be displayed, if accepted, and offered for sale; 2) one copy will be added to our editor’s permanent collection called The Governor’s Library; and 3) one copy will be expended in the process of reviewing your product for acceptance into the product display program. Notwithstanding, we may dispose of your product copies any way we choose after terminating the in-store display. No copies can be returned to you, but if one of them does sell, you will get 50% of the sale price we agree upon (less shipping and handling if it is sold through our online store).

You may query us via email first or post a product review sheet for pre-approval pending product review, as all products sent to us become the property of SkybridgePress.com and will not be returned. We reserve the right to offer the one copy for sale in our Amazon store as well.

The cost of the rent for exhibiting a product is 50% of the product sale price per unit sold from in-store display. The sale price is negotiable between KACPLA, administered by SkybridgePress.com, and the member requesting the rental display in-store. If the exhibited product displayed in-store sells through our Amazon store online, the cost of the rent for exhibiting the product will be increased by the cost of shipping and handling, meaning these costs will be incurred by the KACPLA member. You may request a higher online price to cover these costs.

SkybridgePress.com reserves the right to reject any product submitted for in-store display by KACPLA members. For example we do NOT accept romance novels, porno, vulgar, subversive culture, nor related material in any media format.

Why You Must Send 3 Copies to Us for in-store display request:

If accepted for display and/or online sale through our Amazon store, one copy of your product will be displayed in our storefront in Lexington, Kentucky where it will be offered for sale with a 50:50 split of the sale price (member : SkybridgePress.com); the second copy of your product will be placed in our editor's permanent collection called the "Governor's Library" and the third copy will be expended in the review process.

Other Terms:

KACPLA member requesting an in-store display of their product must pay all shipping and handling charges required to ship the products to SkybridgePress.com, P.O. Box 1467, Lexington, Kentucky 40588-1467. SkybridgePress.com is not liable for nondelivered items nor items mistakenly returned to you by your shipper.

Of the 3 copies submitted for approval on a request for in-store display, no copies will be returned even if the one sale copy does not sell. There is no warranty of merchantability. Display of products may be terminated at any time without notice. Terms and conditions of membership and members’ opportunities may be altered or cancelled at any time.

If your product is accepted for display, when the one for-sale copy of your product is sold, you will have the opportunity to restock our public shelf sale (this sale / restock) option will be repeated each time the work sells. Slow moving products may be removed from the store display at the sole discretion of SkybridgePress.com at any time. Products accepted for display in-store will be displayed for 30 days; and, may be displayed longer if space permits. The product will be listed for 60 days, renewable, in our Amazon store online. Our goal is to help you sell your work and if accepted for display, we strive to leave the display up as long as we have space for it.

If your product sells, you will receive a check for your 50% of the proceeds 60 days after SkybridgePress.com sells the product. If the product is sold through our Amazon store online, we will deduct from your 50% the cost of shipping and handling incurred to ship the product to the customer who buys it online.

All terms and conditions herein are created under and will be adjudicated pursuant to the statutes of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Disputes between KACPLA members and SkybridgePress.com will be resolved by arbitration in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

All offers are void where prohibited by law or further regulated or further taxed.

This is the entire agreement between KACPLA and Member, and there are no oral agreements, and any changes must be made in writing and signed by SkybridgePress.com, Admin of KACPLA.
