Topic: And They Say Blogs Are Dead!

Q-tiny john-adams (413) says:

Great group. Just welcoming myself a board.

Really curious more about how your blogs are fairing. A part from social marketing, Blogs are still a force to be reckoned with; Easily indexed, less focus on S.E.O, more tolerant of linking.

And they say bloging has had its day. What do you think?

Wishing great success for the whole group. Sincerely,

John Adams

"Who" said Blogs are dead? Mine are faring well and super for SEO, too.

No, Blogs have not "had their day" - in fact, they are becoming mini websites unto themselves with the introduction of audiocasts, pod-casts and videos.

When I am researching a subject I always go right to "the Blogs" and Forums first. I want to see what the "people" really think and feel before I dig in and engage myself or waste my time.

ALSO, commenting on Blogs is a super way to connect with a variety of people with the same views and needs. Plus, it leaves behind a trace of your own personal website.

If Blogs were dead, perhaps they are seeing a resurrection?
