Hi! I am looking for a beautiful, colourful and perhaps abstract pic for a cover of a book that we are publishing very soon with CSP. The title of the book is Sonic Mediations, and any pic related to that notion or to sound in general would be welcome. We were thinking of: a tuning fork, a treehouse tin-can phone, a resonance of sound painting in sand (like on a loudspeaker), an anechoic wall/room, ... My hint is to find an image of a military plane surpassing the speed of sound. Seen somewhere, amazing: it's a white splash into the sky with the plane at the exact center...

have you done searches on flickr and zooomr. There are lots of non-copyrighted pictures there
