WOW Hunter Leveling GuideHunters, if built and played properly, have the potential be the highest rangedDPS dealers in the game. The key words being built and played properly.Hunters have a lot of unique abilities and assets that make them perfect forleveling solo. They can also be very useful to groups. All this can make levelingvery easy for hunters. The hunter has two things going for him: his weapons and his pets. Betweenhis weapons and his pets, the hunter is able to rack up the DPS and handleagro. If you are creating a hunter, consider choosing Night Elf, Troll, or Orc forrace. These races have special attributes that compliment the hunter. Whenchoosing armor and weapons, go for the ones that boost your agility andstamina. Gear of the Monkey is said to be the most helpful for Hunter's. You aregoing to want to mix this gear. Don't go for a whole set.Hunters don't get a pet or talent points until they hit level 10. So you may wantto use particular order when attacking mobs, to help you survive, until thatpoint. Put Hunter's Mark on your target. Then start the attack with SerpentSting, followed by Arcane Shot. You can finish them off with spamming RaptorStrike and melee. There are several builds that work for the hunter, since raids are the mosthelpful in getting equipment and XP, we will focus on a build that is successfulin this area. Raid builds also makes you more resistant to being ganked. Thisbuild relies heavily on the Beast Mastery tree, with some talents fromMarksmanship.As you get talent points, allocate them accordingly: Improved Aspect of theHawk 5/5; Endurance Training 3/5; Focused Fire 2/2; Improved Pet Retrieve 2/2;Lethal Shots 5/5; Unleashed Fury 5/5; Ferocity 5/5; Efficiency 5/5; Aimed Shot1/1; Go for the Throat 2/2; Rapid Killing 2/2; Bestial Discipline 2/2; Intimidation1/1; Frenzy 4/5; Animal Handler 2/2; Bestial Wrath 1/1; Ferocious Inspiration3/3; The Beast Within 1/1; and Serpent's Swiftness 5/5. This will get you all theway to level 70. The important thing to remember with this build is that you have to keep yourpet alive for this build to work. The way to handle this is when you are in PvPsituations, or your group is using your pet to tank; make sure that the healer iskeeping up with healing your pet. Your pet can be very helpful on raids, but youhave to know how to control them. Don't put them in situations where theyhave no chance of surviving. It is easy enough to revive your pet if he is killed,but you lose a significant amount of options while he is dead.Hunter's offer a lot of options as far as builds go. As you get higher level,remember it only costs one gold to re-spec. So if you are going into a raid thatdoesn't have a Hunter spec'd for Survival, or a Marksman spec might be more
