GYSC will be holding open practices for the 2010/11 season this April and May. We practice atJames Gettys Elementary School in Gettysburg on the lower field behind GettysburgConstruction. There will be parents and board members on hand to answer questions about theclub. After practice, there will be pizza and refreshments. Pick a night/nights that best fit yourschedule and age group. Please wear shin guards and bring water and a soccer ball.

This will give you the opportunity to work with our team trainer, Mo Odour. Mo wascaptain of the Harrisburg City Islanders in the USL Professional League. He played over 80games for the Islanders and was part of the Harrisburg team which won the 2007 USLSecond Division championship. Prior to Harrisburg, Mo also played professionally for theCarolina Dynamo and Long Island Rough Riders. He played college soccer at theUniversity of Charleston, where he earned All-American honors as a sophomore, beforetransferring to Furman University for his junior and senior years. He was also an assistantwomen's coach at Lebannon Valley College for three years.
