Petrus Romanus
linuxgeek71 scribbled: As a Catholic I find this offensive and I wish you would voluntarily remove it from the group Mary_Calls. Also, there is a typo. At one point you say 10 billion / inf = inf. That is backwards, it should be inf / 10 billion = inf. It doesn't actually even make sense to write the equation since inf isn't a number but, I guess, what you are getting at is clear.

linuxgeek71 scribbled: I don't think your logic is consistent. You seem to believe that the similarities you draw among these fictional stories and some sources of witchcraft prove the stories to be satanic. Despite that the authors say it was not their intent. Many scholars using this same logic show Christianity to be pagan in origin yet you do not believe this. The minds of men are similar so the imagery we use will often be similar. I believe the connections you've drawn are only coincidences and are actually inevitable. The variety of non Christian symbols by far outnumbers Christian symbols (most of which are used differently by other sources as well). This ensures any story will use pagan symbols. So the stories shouldn't be judged by their symbols but by their messages.

linuxgeek71 scribbled: I don't know where this version comes from. I have had it for a while. My personal version is a reprint of a pre 1962 and it is different from this one as well. I have read some history of the Little Office and there have been many different versions since the original was created.

linuxgeek71 scribbled: I believe you have your facts wrong. He did win the popular vote, but he did not win the electoral vote. If he had, he would be president. You can come up with whatever reasons or conspiracies you like, but the fact remains Bush was elected president by the electoral college. There is no law saying the electoral votes must follow the popular. If you don't like the system, get it changed, but don't change the facts to push your agenda.
