After teaching art, she taught basic skills, Reading Recovery and creative writing to children and adults. Retiring to Pennsylvania, she remarried. She and her husband are whitewater kayakers and outdoor enthusiasts. Historic, Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, is home. She is proud of their seven children, and six grandchildren. Walking through town, hiking Mt. Pisgah, or whitewater kayaking the Lehigh River with them brings her joy. Her first novel's setting is along rivers and towns in Pennsylvania.view less
