We are a small Episcopal Parish that has served Port Clinton andthe surrounding area since the late 1800s. Currently, St.Thomas Episcopal Church has teamed with Peace Lutheran Church toform a shared ministry serving the town of Port Clinton. TheShared Ministry has just concluded a search and calling of a newMinister to serve this shared ministry called ELMS (EpiscopalLutheran Ministry Sharing). We believe under the leadership ofFather Mike, each individual church will continue to be a vitalcog in the future of Port Clinton.Service time at St. Thomas is currentlySunday at 11:00 A.M.Each service is a communion service conducted in the Episcopaltradition. In the Episcopal Church, all baptized individualsare welcome at the communion rail. St. Thomas serves wine atcommunion. Anyone not wishing to take the wine may so indicateby crossing their arms over their chest. The Priest will give acommunal blessing in lieu of communion.Following the service, it is our custom to have fellowship inthe Guild Hall with coffee and light refreshments. Please joinus. Visitors are welcome.St. Thomas has aBible Study Groupthat meets weekly on Tuesdayevenings at 7:00 P.M. in the conference room located adjacent tothe Guild Hall. Sessions usually last an hour and are led bythe Parish Priest. Topics are usually books of the Bible – butnot always. Topics are selected by the study group. Visitorsand guests are welcome to attend.St. Thomas has aPrayer Groupthat meets either at the Church onTuesday mornings or at the home of one of the members. Sincemany of the members go south for the winter, this group meetsfrom late spring through late fall.EveryTuesday at 9 A.M. is exercise time. Jane Lazzara leads anactive fun filled hour of stretching and bending and bodyexercise. This activity is open to the public (minimal charge).Sessions are held in the St Thomas Guild Hall, which is enteredfrom 2
