Treasurer’s Report / Richard Watson:
 Richard Watson, a KNA Board member has agreed to fill the position of KNA Treasurer,will continue to work with Angela Moos to balance books.Current Wells Fargo account balance is $5,604.90. There was a $3,177 grant applicationsubmitted to ONI.Presented as informational without a request for approval or acceptance

 Communications: Elle Charbonneau Chair: New Chair & looking for volunteersCommunity Outreach: Angela Moos Chair:Kenton Street Fair Update: Jessie Burke: Took four months to plan, less than $5,000 to put on with help by the PDC, over 3,000 people attended & many vendors were sold out, band performances & stages that they played on were donatedLand Use: Steve Rupert Chair:A land use appeal is underway regarding skinny houses on Denver Ave. between N.Watts St. & N. Winchell St.Denver Streetscape Phase II Update: Kathryn Levine, Portland Department of Transportation: The new contractor, Kodiak Pacific Construction Co., will begin inAugust. There is a detour map available at the PDOT table in back, large carved granitesculpture will be installed this summer, planting of storm water planters will continuenext week, Jean Senechal Biggs will be managing the Phase II Resurfacing Project.Harbor Oil Superfund site Update: Mark Steffan: Committee has spent 6 years trackingthe EPA clean up of site. The sampling is just finishing up which will result in anevaluation of contamination. Tomorrow there is a meeting at the Historic KentonFirehouse from 6-8pm. They are looking for more Kenton residents to attend eachmeeting to show support & concern for actions being taken in the clean up.Livability: Jared Tormohlen Chair:Graffiti abatement/trash clean up via the KNA Public Safety Committee, Update: LeslieForen: Events happen every second Sunday of the month starting at Posies Café around9am, looking for additional manpower, City of Portland provides all cleaning suppliesneeded.
