You must use a caliber that you are proficient with, a shot in the foot with a 50 cal. may do little to stop an attacker while a headshot with a 22 will. Thank you for posting his article Burt.

mijaboot scribbled: Good article, Obama will be known as the man with the golden tongue. He is quite the statesman, educated, well spoken and acceptable. Until you examine the specifics of his beliefs. Being the political orator that he is, he will say what the populace wants to hear. Virtually all of America wants reduced crime etc. Zero guns would surely relate to reduced crime, I don't believe the criminals will cooperate with his social plan. Look at past law for the public betterment, Jim Crow, prohibition, drug laws etc. By restricting the rights of law abiding citizens we have created profitable avenues for the criminal element to prosper, at a great cost to individuals and society as a whole.

mijaboot scribbled: Interesting article. As society has seen a ban does not necessarily lead to the wanted results. Look at alcohol and drug laws. We may have produced as many or more problems than were solved. Suicide/murder and other crimed predate the invention of firearme and will exist after they are superceeded. An article worth reeding, time well spent.
