ENTERING THE FLOW OF REIKI
There are many ways to access Reiki energy. A very old and time-tested technique for engaging theflow of Universal Energy while one is out and about performing daily activities is using the sense of hearing. The act of listening is a way of releasing the mind from the steady stream of thoughts thatblock subtle energy and true awareness. Listening keeps us present in the here and now and opensthe doorway for energy flow.To enter the flow of Reiki through the sense doorway of hearing one listens for the silence thatsurrounds and permeates the sounds in ones daily environment. Listening for silence amongst theactive noises does on a surface level appear to be a crazy thing to do. Yet, what is actually happeningis that the practitioner is letting down his or her mental guard that restricts energy flow from coming in.Listening for the silent breaks in the cacophony of noises is listening for the passive opposite of noiseor in other words that, which gives birth to noise-to all creation, which is Universal Energy. It works!Though at first glance this method many seem almost too simple and easily overlooked, it works quitewell and is a refreshing departure from the overly touted use of energy symbols.Patterning symbols can become a distraction or even an obstacle to fully accessing Universal Energy.It is very easy to become stuck on the tool (energy symbol) rather than opening and relaxing into theflow of Reiki energy. Our physical bodies naturally accept ever-increasing levels of Universal energyover time as we let go of our thoughts and let the energy move through us. This way of listening inmany ways represents a natural symbol of our inner connection to Wholeness.Listening for the silence of Universal Energy and entering the flow of Reiki happens immediately. Onemay be surprised on just how simple and yet profound this method is. The practitioner may start to feelan internal circulation and build up of Chi energy within the body and/or a sense of well being. Theenergy is perfectly attuned for each individual and is not distorted in any way as can be the case usingenergy symbols. Enjoy and blessings.
REIKI II
The Reiki II attunement measurably increases the amount of healing energy, and the attunementfocuses upon emotional, mental and karmic healing in the person who receives it. After theattunement, old emotions, unhealed former situations, past lives, and negative mental patternsresurface to be fully healed at last. This can take as long as six months to complete, and though notalways comfortable the process is positive and necessary.Healing with Reiki II adds considerable power to direct sessions. It also adds the methods and toolsfor doing healing with someone not physically present - you can do this by applying distance healing.In Reiki II, three of the Reiki symbols are introduced and used consciously for the first time. With ReikiI, the symbols are already in the healer's aura and they emerge unconsciously through their handswhen they heal. Reiki II begins directing their energies. It also offers preliminary information onchannelling the energy required to pass attunements as a Reiki III.
