Each aspect of the castle is graded on a scale. The highest score in the range means that the student was completeand had a total command over the area graded. Zero means that the aspect was missing or completely wrong. Totalsin between denote amount of success in the category. Sixty points of the project is the product (castle model orposter - 30) and presentation (30). The essay is worth forty points.
Heading and Title:
(Each group member’s name, the date, period, and class (World History Pre-AP Duez) will be in theheading and the poster or model is labeled with the heading. There is a name for your castle that isclearly apparent and readable.)

Poster:
The design must be complete and detailed and mustgive the viewer a true sense of what the castle will look likewhen it is actually built.
Model:
Must be able to fit on top of a desk in the classroom.Do not make them too big – I will take 10 points off! The castleneeds to be built well enough to survive the trip from yourhouse to school. A castle that falls apart once it gets here ishard to grade.
BOTH:
Choose a location for your castle – it should be an actual place on the world map. Researchthat location and design a castle that would protect it.)
