She has edited several small-press magazines and a number of privately published books. She has spent much of her career involved in writing and editing medical language, which continues to be a focus for her. She is a member of the American Medical Writers and Editors Association and the National Genealogical Society. She lives in a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband and three cats, where she enjoys lacemaking, genealogy, and gardening.view less
