01One Hour and Sixteen Minutes
Just so everyone's on the same page, its twelve feet from a standing position at the window to thefront door.Then twenty three feet down the hall to the stairs.Then four floors down to the first floor.Then fifteen feet to the front door of the building.Then half a block to the jeep.Then six minutes to change clothes.Then eight blocks up and two over to the restaurant.Then seventeen feet to the table where a woman named Jill Gales is waiting for her boyfriend DavidBryce. But David is in work mode now, so he is Wolf.Now, if only this guy would only finish screwing his secretary. Oh, wait, she isn't his secretary. Mr.Cove's secretary is an old woman who looks to be in her late 70's. This secretary workes for a colleagueof Mr. Cove. And her name is Vanessa.Its 8:54 PM on a very warm Monday night in mid-August and Wolf has been waiting just under anhour for Mr. Cove to finish having sex. David is across the street and two floors up from Mr. Cove'soffice here in the Two Bridges area of Lower Manhattan. Wolf guesses there are worse things to bewatching for about an hour. And worse things to be doing right before you're killed from a bullet to thebrain.So why is Wolf waiting on Mr. Cove to finish with his colleague's secretary? Wolf has been workingas a freelance assassin since moving here to New York City two years ago. He mostly works out of townbut on a rare occasion, like tonight, he takes a job in town. How could he resist for so much money?Now, this brings up another question. Why is Wolf killing Mr. Cove in the first place; what did hedo? Aside from the fact that what he's now doing to Vanessa is illegal in twelve states? Fortunately notNew York but still. And aside from the fact Mr. Cove is married? Yes, there is a Mrs. Cove out theresomewhere and she has forgiven him for such behavior in the past and he promised he would never doit again... blah, blah, blah. Just shows you can never trust a cheater. No, those acts are immoral butcertainly not illegal; much less disserve being killed for. Perhaps Mrs. Cove would disagree.The reason Wolf knows these things about Mr. Cove and the reason he is being put to death via a45mm bullet from the rifle Wolf has killed many before with and will remember less than most of themis political. The company that Mr. Cove works for is an arms manufacturer and he decided that thesalary wasn't enough so he started selling information to those O.W.O. terrorists.The Old World Order (O.W.O.) is opposed to the United Global Democracy (U.G.D.). Ever sinceformer U.S. President James Rayzac came up with the UGD and began a mission of one worldgovernment as a means to end world peace, the OWO has existed to fight that cause. (Perhaps Kim andher stupid ultimatum were part of that shit!) Initially, the OWO used peaceful methods of

The duality aspect of David/Wolf is something I like as well. Its a fine line, though, because I don't want him to come off as having a mental disorder or anything. I just hope that comes through in the writing. Thanks for the comment. I enjoy them and know they help me be a better writer.

Great story. I like the duality between David/Wolf. It makes the character deeper and more interesting. This has some really great potential! Keep Writing!
