Growing up, Kelly was i...view moreKelly Smith Papa lives in Connecticut with her husband, James, and their two children, Isabella and David. Kelly is an educator, a nurse, and an advocate for aging services. Growing up, Kelly was inspired by her family to be creative and to take good care of people in need. She has written multiple books and articles focused on building learning organizations, creativity in staff development, person-centered care, dementia care, and leadership development. Currently she is the corporate director of learning at Masonicare. She earned her BSN from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire and her MSN from the University of Saint Joseph. She was a fellow of the Leading Age Leadership Academy and was a recipient of the Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing in 2011. This is her first children’s book.view less
