this is really fascinating but sadly is a terribly misleading translation. most heiratic and heiroglyphs are designed to have multiple levels of meaning and interpreting the symbols in the way that the translator has for this text, it has lost a lot of the more direct instruction evidently intended.
it is still possible to get a feel for the text and I am very grateful to Wallis Budge for bringing it to our attention. the student will have to do a lot of research into the various deities and their affinities to be able to make much use of the translation. most of the symbols mentioned refer to concepts which are unfamiliar to western academics and laymen alike.
