President Obama recently cut off everyone in the country SSI benefits to zero balance that is disabled or elderly. I have been sick for over 25 yrs. I receive SSDI, and $16 mo from SSI, which is really to qualify me for Medicaid called Medi-Cal in California. It complicated, but what he did is reduce the SSI to zero (I was receiving $16mo), therefore I no longer qualify for benefits like in-home healthcare, and Medicaid. What this will do is create what is called Emergency Medical Care, where people with no insurance, and no money for healthcare will financially burden all local hospitals ER, people going for gyno check, costing $500-$1,000, instead of paying personal doctor $35 for well woman check. Am I the only one that sees that not only is this not the actions of a President thinking, but in fact he costing taxpayers more money, or breaking them from even operating. A friend I had to recommend her to County Psych ward as she is too sick & old to fight Obama/government, as she was so suicidal, I couldn't believe that a letter was mass sent to everyone with out concerns or thought of the COST it would take financially and personally to our sick. I grew up in Chicago, and I now believe that he is an too elite to understand what he just did. In conclusion, what Obama is doing for SSI is making it worse. As the way he set it up people who are not sick, and on SSI (AKA Welfare), can continue to get welfare, just the disabled who actually worked and put money into the SSDI program. This is actually the cruelest, careless, and maybe not quite legal, definitely not that of caring human being. I won't be voting for him, and yes he acts like a a Republican, a bad one too, so far all your policies are that the well off. Can someway, somehow, could you get this message that you are turning this country into a third world country.
