A great story to share with people about the inherent potential we all possess. I encourage people to especially share it with young people. If only the whole world knew this story!
Excellent amicus brief used in the historic Roper v. Simmons U.S. Supreme Court case which ended the death penalty against juveniles in the USA. The scientific information contained herein is very important for the campaign to abolish the imposition of life without parole sentences against juveniles as well. Please read and distribute widely.
This is a significant victory for prisoners serving parolable life sentences in the State of Michigan.

Comment on Dia De La Mujer 2008 Press Release (Updated 2-1-08)
Posted on February 5, 2008
Support this very important conference and circulate this press release widely via every available form via print and electronic formats. You can copy and paste a link to this page in e-mails, blogs, web site posts, on MySpace, Facebook, etc.
This is an excellent report about life without parole sentences (LWOP) imposed on juveniles in Michigan. Work is currently underway to abolish this ongoing human rights atrocity which only the U.S. and Somalia commit against its children. The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) prohibits the imposition of the death penalty and life without parole sentences on juveniles. Support the effort to abolish juvenile life without parole sentences which are tantamount to death sentences. You can learn more about this effort by visiting www.secondchancelegislation.org and by visiting www.4Efren.com.
People are encouraged to support the Centro Obrero and their efforts to provide essential services to those who desperately need them.
