The summer constellation (North America) known as the Big Dipper, The Great Bear, or Ursa Major, is comprised of seven stars (as the unaided eye sees them). These ancient constellation is known by many names among ancient and modern cultures. All knew that this easily identified group of stars guided the eye to dim Polaris - the Pole Star, the North Star - the stationary star so crucial to navigation and reckoning alike. |

Title refers to High Springs, FL USA, a quaint yet growing town near a wealth of pristine springs flowing into the Santa Fe River in north central Florida, whose downtown boasts of 3 old-fashioned barbershops, 3 hardware stores, 2 feed stores, many antique stores, an old soda fountain, and a few old-fashioned clothing stores, all next to a railroad line across from a peanut processing plant. |
