In act nine the narrator begins senior year in high school, a manager at the store is shot during a robbery, a first date, first girlfriend, Grampa's funeral, sneaking into a nightclub with fake ID, another girl interest ends after a snow storm, and a trip to Tucsonfor Christmas.

My second novel about "growing up" in the 70s and early 80s. In this episode, the narrator rolls on into the fall of 1973, hangin' with "the dopers," skipping school on Senior Skip Day as a Junior, buying and riding bikes, the motor kind, and boats, the pleasure kind (?), and a trip to Massachusetts to visit a bud. My second novel about becoming an "adult" in the 70s and early 80s. This act witnesses the re-election of Nixon in 72 and the onset of 73 and 'oil embargo'. The narrator learns a lesson about borrowing books from a teacher for a term paper and failing to cite the source "properly".
