Surely, thinking and feeling are merely process? In other words what is it that feels and thinks? |

The cure for all diseases |
The cure for all illnesses is to eliminate the primary cause which is in the mind. Unfortunately modern medical science places the cause in the body! Read "The Milk Is White" and the "The 'Quo Vadis?' File" here http://www.scribd.com/people/view/1677946 |

Rational Joy and Infinite Grandeur |
What I see here is not an atheist but an agnostic. Am I correct? I also see a seeker of the Truth who is so far still under the influence of unconscious barriers - self-imposed or imposed by other, in this life or in previous lives. May I suggest you drop the chains at your feet, step out of them and seek the Truth, the Reality, unfettered by anything, as I did? I wish you well! |

We Hope in Vain |
Let me say this: It IS difficult, even impossible, to understand/conceptualise the Reality in the way we commonly try to, but when the mind is bypassed the clarity is incredible. However, if one then wishes to communicate by human means that which is incredibly clear one is faced with a difficult task - one that can easily result in the essense being lost in a cloud of verbiage. |

We Hope in Vain |
There is no need to hope, my friend! You are correct in what you say in this article in terms of one being unable to comprehend the abstract but you CAN access the information you seek - the vision of what is - by commencing meditation. I did it part time for some nineteen years, the Buddha did it almost full time for eight years prior to attaining full enlightenment, and I do not doubt that Jesus also meditated, For instance, did he pray for forty days and forty nights or was it meditation? If he was praying I cannot understand what he would be praying about for that long! An untold number of individuals have meditated and are meditating with varying results according to their individual 'bank of wisdom' or state of being. The point is one has to start somewhere and sometime! |

Debate Opening |
The existance or non-existance of 'God' cannot be determined or conceptualised by the mind* and there is a lot more that cannot be determined or conceptualised by the mind*. That is why meditation is used to bypass the mind so as to access the 'Source' or Font of Knowledge in order to neopt**. * Search my book and The 'QuoVadis?' File for "mind" and "soul" or define what is meant by "mind". ** Please see my post in the QVF titled New Words Coined. |

Atheists Among Us |
Everyone has free will and chooses accordingly, each according to their need at any given time. Enlightenment as to the Reality emerges out of the darkness of each mind gradually - this may take thousands of years - but when the time is right the entity will be receptive to a variety of sources all stemming from the one source. Advice may be given but is best given in response to a request and, in any case, advice given more than once is no longer advice but nagging or the wish to impose one's will on another - this is intolerance, self-righteousness! As for religion as it is practiced by hierachical structures exercising un-Godly power etcetera: such 'structures' are unsustainable in the face of wisdom; the wisdom which will come to every one in time. |
