| About me: | I am from Charleston, South Carolina. I have traveled abroad and returned home to settle down. I enjoy living close to the beach - any beach - but especially here in Charleston. I enjoy the Art and Architecture of our wonderful City. I consider myself an advocate for Charleston and I pursue avenues to help folks in South Carolina with important information and resources to make life better - whenever and where ever possible. In my spare time, and there is not a lot of that, I enjoy the company of my husband, walking, boating and especially...the beach. | |

An old song from long ago
Posted on July 2, 2008 |
The haunting melody came right back to me when I read the very first line! My Mother used to play this song a lot...and weep. I remember it on the radio. It makes an interesting poem.

What Happens to Free Puppies?
Posted on July 2, 2008 |
Hey there Blogger. I want to make sure that you know I am not being critical of giving away Pets to Good Homes! To the contrary.
My main point in being an Animal Advocate is to make sure that people know you just can't let your Pet keep spittin out puppies (or kittens) thinking "it's okay, I'll just give them away in the paper while they're still cute."
Our SPCA's are full of evidence that the Pet Population needs a measure of control.
Not taking life for granted was my theme. I applaud those who find really good homes for their "wee ones" and then follow through with a Spay or Neuter.
Thank you so much for your comments! :)

The Official Voices.com User Guide
Posted on July 2, 2008 |
That is super interesting. I will have to check out the website. I have been told that I have the voice of an Angel (well, what does my husband know?) On a serious note, if there truly is a viable service to make extra income providing voice services, why not give it a shot? Thanks for the info.

THE MASTER KEY SYSTEM

Fabulous! I am in total agreement with the very first concept: " That much gathers more is true on every plane of existence and that loss leads to greater loss is equally true."
This is a huge undertaking. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Puppies - Maran Illustrated
Posted on July 1, 2008 |
There's my AWWWW for the day! I am going to have to put this on my animal care blog! Outstanding work once again, Marin Family.
This beautiful eBook covers everything, is so well illustrated...and it's just gosh golly cute!
Your instruction manual covers every single puppy issue and then some.
Remember to have your puppy spayed or neutered early. They grow up quickly and you can prevent unwanted litters!
