Van Hooff has on the wrong side entered the haunted house - by publishing before reading, a mortal sin – and can’t find the exit anymore. Profanity, bluster, stalking, false allegations... do not help. Sorry for him.

Very interesting the way Sister Emmerich combines 'Cassius' to 'Longinus.' Saint Longinus feastday is on March 15th, the day Julius Caesar was murdered by the roman officer and senator C. A wax-effigy of Caesar his dead body was raised on the Forum Romanum, in the aftermath of Caesar his death as a very important dramatic (!) element in Caesars funeral ceremony. It seems Shakespeare follows mainly Plutarch as regards the aftermath of Caesars death. If he had used (could have used) his inspiration from other sources,maybe the play could have had an other structure.
