Comment on Poem about Secularism...
Posted on August 26, 2007

HI, The definition of secularism is generally the assertion or BELIEF that certain practices or institutions should exist separately from religion or religious belief. Religion is a set of common beliefs and practices generally held by a group of people. So In my opinion secularism can be considered a religion as well and I think the definition of secularism contradictory. But the goal of a secularist is to remove God from the equation. That is what the poem is about. I will leave the rest for you to interpret.

Comment on God and Communism

Author, I've read some of your papers. I'm a Christian and I had a question for you. Do you believe in Jesus...I am assuming you do by the paper titled "Quantum Jesus"...What evidence brought you to that conclusion? You seem very knowledgeable and for me all it took was a simple leap of faith. How did you come to the conclusion for the existence of God? Have you read books by Lee Stroble...They are amazing. He interviews scientist and historians who are Christians. Who by looking deeper at the handy work of God, only re-affirms in them, the existence of a Creator. I am always amazed at how God works even in the brightest of minds; that sometime need “more evidence” of the existence of God. I hope you respond back. thanks Jason

Comment on What God's Word Says About Abortion
Posted on June 23, 2007

Zazen, God is not the one to blame. He calls us to be stewards of this earth since the very beginning of creation and gave us choice. Seeing these starving kids in the streets like you mentioned just show how we have not been stewards of this earth, but horded food and resources to one section of the earth and abandoned the other. The topic of abortion is not just for the “religious fanatics” but for humanist as well. And as a solution for the abortion problem. I say, save the baby and the mother. And if any or both die of natural cause, we mourn over them. What do we do with the baby? Well, either put them in an adoption agency that will care for them, that is if the mother doesn’t want it or help the mother take care of her own child. I should be president!

Comment on Is The Bible True?
Posted on June 21, 2007

xoxo, This document posted is saying that the events in the Bible are Historically accurate not that God is Historically accurate, even though He is to a Christian. The problem for most people who come to the conclusion that the Bible IS Historical, is that a God is mentioned...What if WWI was intertwined with stories of God just like all the battles in the Old Testament, would you still believe it existed? Would you believe WWI existed even though you weren’t even born yet? Of course you would, but it will challenge everything you know...Why would you? Is it because it was taught in school...No, not merely! There are artifacts of the war to prove that it existed and testimonies... Same applies with the Bible? There are many artifacts found. We still have the original ancestral decedents (Hebrew Jews) and we have testimony on how God is still working in our lives today, (Christian and Jews) You don’t believe in God for any logical reason but for a moral one. Not believing in God allows you to be free in your own erotic desires. I understand though.... Who wants to be told how to live there life right? That’s fine. I was like that, until my own desires left me empty ...

Comment on Dear God, why didn't you save the school children?
Posted on May 1, 2007

I find it fascinating that when a catastrophe occurs, God is suddenly in the equation. We don’t ask where is God in any time other when something bad happens. And when something GOOD happens we don’t acknowledge Him...How fast we put the blame on God. Yes it was a sad thing that occurred and one might ask where was God. He was in the paramedics that arrived on the scene early, He was in that support from a loved one, He was in those brave students that defended the class, and He was there when the alarm clock of some students would not go off. He was there!! The question on why bad things occur is not an easy question and I have no answer for you.

Comment on Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian
Posted on May 1, 2007

No... All religions are fundamentally different. You can ask any true believer from there own religion. What you have said is very incorrect... If YOU think God is “very intolerant, unforgiving, and violent...” it is because the very idea that all gods are the same makes God seem very inconsistent and schizophrenic. So all religions cannot be the same. There can be only One Truth. All religions claim to be THE truth and claim it to there death. All religions paint a different picture of God. There has to be ONE truth because we all share this world. There needs to be commonality despite our indifference. Unity in diversity!! We all are in this world together and have the same features etc. We all express ourselves the same. So it is a matter of truth! Would you recognize TRUTH if it walk by you? God has engraved in our hearts a desire to search out “Truth” and hopefully find Him in the process but we search in relationships, in money, fame, status, jobs, success etc...our every day life! J

Comment on The Quantum Jesus
Posted on April 28, 2007

Strange take on the Biblical account of the resurrection but never the less, you believe in Jesus whether in a Quantum form or something else...Praise God!!! A friend of mine told me something very profound once. I asked him what he thought heaven will be like, he told me: “We will stop becoming and we will finally, BE, with our creator’”
