This book is filled with distortion and hyperbole. It would be tedious to point out every single example of the author (usually referred to in the UK as 'Mad Mel') being 'economical with the truth', so just to give one example, she mentions a protest march held by fanatics in response to the Danish cartoons affair and claims that there were thousands of marchers, whereas in fact, there were no more then a hundred protesters. This book didn't do well in the UK, because thankfully, Manichean Paranoia isn't as widespread in the UK as it sadly is in the US.

Dear Brother/Sister, Islam is also about believing from the heart and moderation in all aspects of life, including prayer. It's hypocrisy to pray 5 times daily and then defraud or harm others physically or mentally, as I have come across many people who are like this and they give Islam a bad name.

The idea that John Kerry was not cut out for the job of president in 2004 is absurd. Anyone who saw the debates in 2004 would have to accept that Kerry is far more intelligent then Bush. If you read the work of journalists like Greg Palast and Tom Paine, you will realize that John Kerry would have actually won the the state of Ohio and the presidency, if it wasn't for the votes that were voided because they were regarded as inconclusive. Unless you make sure that the person who decides which votes are inconclusive is an independent, there is far too much scope for fraud. You may also recall the faulty electronic voting machines in 2004, there are still reports of faulty machines in 2008.
