Personal Info
Occupation: I research key opinion leaders in the medical industry, and prepare profiles to be used by pharmaceutical companies. Previously, I co-founded and grew a company that designed and produced home decorative accessories in Mexico. What I actually should be doing is a combination of nutritional/botanical medicine consulting, medical research for patients and healthcare consumers, playing hand drums for dance classes and performances, co-facilitating poetry workshops...well, that's enough for now.
Interests: Music (jazz, hand drumming, djembes, congas, bata, folkloric percussion). Poetry. Writing, now and then. Internet research...discovering and collecting information. Learning about "the semantic web, knowledge management, information visualization, web applications...More. Later.

Lately I've been reading: "The Coffee Trader", a financial-historical thriller, in the genre of "quasi-literature," and remarkable for its entertainment value, painless lessons in (1) the financial markets of Amsterdam in the 1600s; (2) the situation of Jews in Amsterdam at that time; and (3) the hearts and minds of tricksters, lovers, and haters.

Lately I've been writing: Only the above "mini book review" or "tweet-like" micro-mention...and a few trial entries into Twitter and Jaiku, of course. Who can resist?
