Legion... scribbled: Greater faecal production implies more bacteria in the faeces. The more bacteria, the more they eat themselves, and the more heat given off while they multiply. That would lower the "digestive efficiency". The best probiotic bacteria from weight loss would essentially be the one that increases the volume of faeces the most. Easy to work out at home for most people!
