I've been reviewing the comments here. Some have accused me of being gay because I am turned on by women in scanty or sexy clothes. Now that makes a helluvalotta sense, doesn't it? Most men are turned on by women in sexy attire, so does that make most men gay? Now if I'd said that scantily clad men turn me on, then I could rightfully be called gay. The only thing I can conclude from some of the remarks is that men who DON'T like girls in sexy clothes must be gay. Wonder how many of 'em hang out in men's rooms...

Let's just hope that Bush doesn't bring the country to total ruin before the next election. I'm an Independent, but for my money Gore is the best bet, Demo or Republican

To Lance Corp. Stevens: I spent twenty years in the army (now retired). Soldiers talk about women more than anything else (the straight soldiers, that is.) I'd be willing to bet that marines do, too. (By the way, the army abbreviates corporal as cpl.)

As far as boobs go, my tastes (yum yum) depends on the chick. Dolly Parton turns me on for sure. But Dolly is one sexy gal, and I would go fer her even if she had small ones. On the other hand, Asian chicks have small boobs (not all of them of course), and there are some extremely sexy Asian chicks.

Okay, I'll agree that the line, "Losers resort to name-calling" is contradictory. But all the name-calling aside, (gay, idiot, loser, dumb) the whole issue boils down to whether NORMAL males are more turned on by naked women or by women with sexy outfits, i.e. bikinis, see-throughs, etc. To date, there have been 84655 views of this article. Of those, 342 gave a thumbs up, and I count only about a half-dozen or so (there may be a few more) that expressed disagreement. This pretty much agrees with the talk I heard in barracks (not just one barracks, but dozens of barracks over the course of twenty years--and all those GIs couldn't be dumb). Now for those who are turned on by nude women--and I'll grant there are many--fine. I've no axe to grind. But I'll ask this question: Are men who are turned on by nude gals turned off by scantily clad gals? Don't think so. By the same token, men who are turned on by scantily clad gals are NOT turned off by nude gals. So what's the argument? Why would either side get uptight because the other side likes women either dressed or undressed?

But it was pointed out that it wasn't a scientific study, but merely the recollections of the author as he remembered it from some twenty years of listening to barracks talk.

Whether a girl is hotter with or without clothes depends on the eye of the guy. But the reaction here agrees with all the guys in the barracks. MOST agree that nude gals are hot, but that gals in sexy clothes are hotter. Nudity leaves nothing to the imagination, where sexy outfits makes a guy's imagination work overtime. The peekaboo, see through, and form revealing outfits gets a rise outta guys. Idiot? Losers resort to name-calling.

One of the naysayers mentioned the $30 million porn industry to make his point. Something else I noticed while in the army. The jerk-offs who liked porn mostly stayed in the barracks. The guys who were going out and having fun with the gals had little time for porn. (This was especially true during the occupation years of Japan and Germany, where jillions of sexy gals were available every where.)

You learn something new every day. If you would believe the few (very few) who disagree with this article, a man is gay if he is turned on by by women in tight jeans, mini skirts, see through clothes, short shorts, bikinis, etc. Brother, that's news to me! To the contrary, I would say that men who are NOT turned on by women in sexy clothes are most likely gay. It's pretty obvious to me that most who made negative comments didn't read the article all the way through.

ateo: I can absolutelely guarantee that I'm not gay, and lots of women will attest to that. Though I wouldn't go so far as to say that naked females leave me cold (they don't!), I will say that gals in tight jeans, mini skirts, panties and bra,etc., do a lot more to turn me on. So far, it's about 34 to 3 in favor of women in sexy attire over the bare bottom. Could it be, ateo, that "thou dost protest too much?" pgshah: I do all my lovemaking with naked ladies, after they shed those sexy undies! (It's pretty hard to make love to a fully clothed gal.)

Of the comments I've received on this article, which is posted here and several other sites, you, Derek, are the first, as far as I recall, to disagree. This proves that most red-blooded heterosexual males are in agreement with the boys in the barracks. There are lots of guys who would agree with you, but I think you're definitely in the minority.
