Changing The Administrative Privileges of A Windows XP User Account
Posted on April 16, 2008 |
Restart in Safe Mode adn you'll be able to login as the administrator and make the changes you want.
To restart in safe mode, just press the F8 key a bunch of times as Windows boots up, then select Safe Mode.
If that doesn't work, there's a more complicated way to access Safe Mode that invovled msconfig - see my Scribd article on booting in Safe Mode for the details.

Computer Tutorials
Posted on April 12, 2008 |
I highly recommend buying a new computer. No offense, but it sounds like your current computer is a piece of junk (256 colors? 1995 ended 12 years ago, man!). For the price it would take to upgrade your computer to modern standards (if that's even possible) you could have bought a brand new one, and then some.

Why Did God Create Mankind?
Posted on April 6, 2008 |
I agree, gabbylyn. When I said God is not in control, I didn't mean that God doesn't have a plan for us (He most certainly does), I simply meant that God does not cause every event that happens in the world, because many of the things that happen in the world (including many of the bad things such as war) are not God's doing, but the result of our own free will decisions, which are often very poor decisions, because the devil is constantly tempting us to do evil things, which is why we need God's help to overcome the devil, each and every day.

Why Did God Create Mankind?
Posted on April 5, 2008 |
Suffering is not a testament to the nonexistence of God. It testifies to the existence of the devil. There is a continuous battle going on between the forces of good and the forces of evil. Anyone with eyes to see and minds to understand can see it.
There are many common misconceptions regarding the existence and nature of God, but the most common misconception is that God is in control of everything that happens.
God is not in control.
It's called free will. God is not to blame for war or natural disasters, because these are simple products of cause and effect. Their causes are well known and documented. They are not caused by God.
Nor did God intervene to stop these events, because God sees the big eternal picture that we cannot possibly see or understand. We can rest assured that in the end, every injustice will be made just, and every unfairness will be made fair. God will justly judge everyone who has ever lived, and God will be glorified. He is glorified through the righteous who serve Him, and he is glorified through the unrighteous, who will be brought to justice by Him.
"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those ...

Is The Bible True?
Posted on April 5, 2008 |
You are correct that the Nag Hammadi library and the Qumran scrolls are important elements in understanding the true authenticity of the Bible.
The Qumran scrolls are an amazing find - they include fragments from most of the books of the Old Testament, including a complete scroll of Isaiah. They prove that the Hebrew scriptures are preserved with incredible accuracy. When compared to scrolls dating a thousand years later, they match with almost 100% accuracy.
Your statement that the authenticity of the fragments discovered in the Nag Hammadi library are "scientifically proven" is not correct. It is impossible to "prove" the authenticity of any ancient writing without a time machine. When determining which gospels tell the most accurate story of Jesus, one must consider many factors, including the dating of the gospels, and how well they agree with other writings of that period.
There are many gospels - the four included in the Bible (Mark, Matthew, Luke, John, in chronological order) - and the gnostic gospels, including the recently discovered Gospel of Judas, and the four gospels found in the Nag Hammadi library. Your statement that the gospels of ...

Is The Bible True?

There are no significant contradictions in the Bible.
See here:

Your "nonsense verses" are a combination of taking specific verses out of context and a failure to understand the figurative nature of those verses.

Hidden Codes in the Bible - Roy Reinhold

No. Barack Obama's Hebrew Number is NOT 666.
Case closed.
You can calculate Hebrew numbers here:
http://prophecy.landmarkbiblebaptist.net/count.html
Remember, the antichrist must have a Hebrew number of 666. However, not everyone with a number of 666 is the antichrist. There have been many people throughout history with a Hebrew number of 666 and none of them were the antichrist.

Why Does God Allow Suffering?
Posted on March 17, 2008 |
God does not control us. We have the free will to make our own decisions, and therefore we are fully responsible for our actions. God, being omniscient, knows everything, both past, present, and future. Therefore he already knows what actions we are going to chose, even before we chose them. Contrary to popular belief, free will and predestination are actually compatible. I can explain further if you would like.
