Volkswagen Bitchslaps Ted Kennedy

Doubt it. Back then there weren't the modern-style lobbyist relationships that would preclude this stuff today. One can imagine an ad with a can of Bush's Baked Beans on one side and a portrait of the US President on the other, under the beans there's the caption "Good Bush" and under the portrait there's the caption "Bad Bush."
It just wouldn't happen. Tho it'd rock. :-)

CV of the Year

Okay, while this is admittedly pretty funny, this is so not real. It's too clever by half, and likely written by somebody who likely would never have to actually apply at a McDonald's.
"Greg Bulmash" is set up to be an 'honest and funny' loser, who at 17 goes around to fast food restaurants bombing applications with pithy bon mots that reference middle management hostility and the terms of Michael Ovitz severance from the Walt Disney Company in 1996.
It's funny. Not honest.
