yeah, it's not terribly grammatical or well written; then again, it's a mile ahead of what our president bush can produce even know. and he is white, you know. and the beneficiary of every advantage America could offer.
don't know about other schools, but what few interactions I have had with undergrads at what i like to call the Harvard of South Central Connecticut haven't impressed me with their educational excellence either. And certainly adult life has taught me that the ability to write is pretty rare, in general.

225 pages is one long undergrad thesis, even double spaced with long margins. If it were me typing, I'd be lucky to even finish it, let alone perfect the wording at that size. I consider myself hugely lucky that the first word processing facilities arrived on campus just in time for my thesis.
