The American people are fed up with Republican rule( 8 years of Bush/Cheney/Rove) that any, ANY Democratic candidate was most likely to be elected.And dont all politicians use basically the same catchwords i.e., change,hope,cooperation,bipartisian etc.. the truth is a democrat had a better chance than a republican because of a direct link to Bush and his failed and disjointed policys.Most people vote with thier emotions and not too much thought,and as hard as it might be to swallow Obama is a better speaker than MCcain,what, if anything Mr.Obama might be guilty of is pandering to the people better than MCcain.Most people are tired of Bush(21% approval rating) and MCcain has been a supporter of Bush (88% vote record with Bush), that people saw MCcain as just an extension of Bush, and they voted according to that association and not much else.Sorry conspiracy types youre claim doesnt hold up.the facts of the turnout and the reasons do.
