Welcome to our first edition of 2010. The Year of the Tiger. The Tiger is one of the 12-year cycle of animals that appear in the Chinese zodiac related to the Chinese Calendar. Another name for the Chinese calendar is the “Yin Calendar”. Since the time of Emperor Wu of Han, starting the new year on the second new moon after the winter solstice has been the norm for more than two thousand years.
