Obtain legislative approval of HB 6660 sponsored by Rep.Fred Crespo to mandate netaggregate metering for schooldistricts that own a windturbine farm.

What Is House Bill 6660
House Bill 6660 will mandate that any schooldistrict, community college, or municipalitythat builds a wind turbine farm will haveaccess to net aggregate metering for eachfacility owned and operated by a schooldistrict.
This means that the electrical companies mustgive each district that owns a farm 1 kilowattcredit for each kilowatt produced by a windturbine against the aggregate bills of thedistrict at the current cost of electricity.
