At this time of year I always pause to count the many blessings that we share as residents of our fineVillage of Hanover Park. We have a wonderful town and much to celebrate about.Destination Day at Anne Fox School was a time toshare with our youth the wonderful aspects of ourVillage.We discussed Pride and how we as young peoplecan contribute to the beautification of Hanover Parkby starting at home with projects.TheHurricaneFootball & Cheer kick-off marchthrough theneighborhoodsis always a time of excitement. Congrats to the 115#boys for winning their Superbowl., an exciting eveningfor sure.The collaboration between Prairie Street Station Pub andthe Hanover Park Community Resource Center, DuCapswas a wonderful thing raising funds to assist the youth inafter school programs and have access to computers andbooks.Visits from Candidates for State Office. Anita Fortes-Scottand Rep. Randy Ramey.Then we had record rainfalls, DisasterDeclarations and FEMA visits.50
