Elizabeth A. S. Beaudin received herPh.D. From Yale University, writingher thesis on medieval love narra-tives from Muslim Spain. She hastaught language and literature courses
at Faireld University and Yale. Dr.
Beaudin is also a systems architectwith 20 years of information technol-ogy experience, during which timeshe has developed both academic andadministrative systems in a universityenvironment. Her academic back-ground helps balance the demands of technical architecture design with thescholar’s needs for useable content.Dr. Beaudin’s work on the recentOACIS project included developingthe software, interface, and technicalcommunications for a new electronicunion catalog.Beaudin is project manager for twogranted projects at Yale University Li-brary -- Project AMEEL and Iraq ReC-ollection -- that will create a scalabledigital repository on the Middle East.Dr. Beaudin is currently Manager of International Digital Special Projects,Yale University.
