Capturing the Value of Transit was written by Reconnecting America’s Center for Transit-Oriented Development. The Center for Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) is a national nonprofit effort dedicated to providing best practices, research and tools to support market-based transit-oriented development. The Center For Transit-Oriented Development partners with both the public and private sectors to create strategic solutions which encourage development of high performance TOD projects around transit stations and to build transit systems that maximize development potential. The Center for Transit Oriented provided invaluable research material to Scott Schaefer and Lexington Development during the conception and development of Lexington Park at Rice Field, part of the Downtown Plano Transit Village.
