E-learning content on the London Grid for Learning (summer 2009)
The London Grid for Learning has created, bought or commissioned a range of softwarefocussed on supporting learning and teaching in the Primary sector.Many London LAs have been involved in action research projects, involving classroomteachers and supported by LGfL, which include the best and latest practice in using arange of software and hardware across the curriculum.The London Grid for Learning is also part of the National Education Network, bringingtogether 10 grids which cover all the regions of England, each with its own unique content.

LGfL PB Bear provides 5online video stories and talkingbooks, with differentiatedactivities based on Foundationgoals. The activities are alsomapped to the KS1 curriculum.Produced in collaboration witha team of teachers andadvisers from London schools,It is the result of the LGfLpartnership with PearsonLongman.You can find it in theFoundation as well as the KS1Literacy, Numeracy and ICTmenus.Each story contains a numberof differentiated activitiesbased on Foundation goals.The activities are also mappedto the KS1 curriculum.You can find a summary of theactivities by selecting theActivity menu button from theStories home page

Five online talking stories onKS1 QCA topics (mainlyHistory and Geography). Thetext is spoken out in a rangeof languages and all storiesinclude activities for a rangeof subjects.The stories use Shockwavev10; if they don’t load it willbe because your machinehas an older version.
