Many children are extra-sensitive
to the tex-ture and feel of clothing.
Soft
®is the firstline of 
inclusive clothing
designed with theneeds of all children in mind, including thosewith
Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder,ADHD, and a range of Developmental Delays.
 We use flat seaming for extra comfort, 100%of the softest combed cotton, wide collars,encased elastic waistbands, printed labels,custom fits, and much more.
Our goal is todesign clothing that can enhance social skills,sensory organization, concentration, by ad-dressing unique sensory needs, but withoutsacrificing personal style and self expression.
{In Fall 2009, the first Soft collection will launch with a full line of children's clothing and accessories, in sizes 2-10 with styles rang-ing from casual sportswear to holiday and occasion wear. }

{Soft was created and developed by a Special Education teacher/graphic designer fromBrooklyn, who partnered with a Chicago mom, entrepreneur and caring family member toa child with Autism who struggles with clothing sensitivity.}
Suzy Kogen Friedman: Partner/Director
Suzy has been a lifelong advocate for people with developmentaldisabilities. Both her brother and sister-in-law have developmen-tally delays. Timmy, their 9 year old son, was diagnosed with Au-tism and global developmental delays at age 3. Timmy's daily dress-ing challenges were the inspiration behind Suzy's clothing idea. Asthe purchaser of all of Timmy's clothes, she saw the giant void inthe market that needed to be filled. Suzy brings real life experienceand an altruistic nature to Soft, as well as an expert business back-ground, having owned and run her own successful company for thelast 25 years.
 Jessica Elsas, Founder/Director/Designer
Jessica is a Special Education teacher with an MA in EarlyChildhood Special Education, and a background in art anddesign. Jessica came up with the idea for Soft whileteaching a child with sensory issues in early 2007. Shehas dedicated the last two years to researching the ideaand market thoroughly, connecting with children, par-ents, and non-profits, and building a magnificent team of people with enormous amounts creativity and big bigHEARTS.
