JUNE
SOUL PURPOSE MINISTRIES
2010

Our work in India is focused on two
major fronts: winning the lost and
making disciples. For us, that’s what it’s
all about! The lost need to hear the
gospel and often churches are full of
believers who need to hear the gospel
too. We’re actively laboring to bring the
gospel of the Kingdom to both groups,

thus enabling us to reach the unreached
and equip the saints for ministry.

“Outreach and equipping; both
are vital, and only by doing both
can we fulfill the Great
Commission”

Right now you are helping us reach out
all over the nations of India and Nepal,
and in tandem with our continual
outreach we are continually equipping
new gospel workers. Just recently we
conducted a one week session of
training called A2 - Express

(Ambassador Academy Express).
The expansion continues...

Sikkim’s
“Hope Home”

Taking boys and girls into Sikkim’s “Hope
Home” has been no easy task. Though the
grace of God is abundant and it is His
grace that makes all the difference, still
there are many challenges and
opportunities to learn. Experience is the
best teacher, and experience has taught us
some new lessons recently.

YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT
ARE MAKING A HUGE
DIFFERENCE!

The experience

Our two newest girls, Maneesha and
Diksha decided not to come home from
school one recent day. Instead, they took a
trip without our knowledge to visit
Maneesha’s family in a town about 45
minutes away from us. We learned after
tracking the girls down that Maneesha’s
mom lied to us about her family situation.
We were told that Maneesha’s dad was
dead, but in fact he is alive. This truth,
along with Maneesha’s run-away incident
led us to decide that Maneesha would have
to return home to her family.

The lesson learned

It was a very stressful evening for all of us
when we found two of our girls missing,
but we thank God that they were both okay
and no serious harm was done. Diksha is
now back home with us, and new steps
have been taken to avoid a future event
like this recent one.

Through all of this we have become
increasingly aware of one key addition that
we need to make to our “Hope Home”
ministry outreach. That key is to own and
operate a school of our own. We thought
simply sending our children to a private
school would be the answer, but we now
know that something even better is
needed. Having our own school would

help us in many tremendous ways; it

would give us better supervision of our
children, enable us to teach them in a
completely Christ-centered environment,
and it would enable us to reach even more
people by making an excellent education
facility available to our community.

Please be in faith with us for the new
direction we have received. It’s a big
project and God willing we’ll begin next
year!
